In April 2018, the United Nations General Assembly declared 3rd June as International World Bicycle Day. The resolution for World Bicycle Day recognizes the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle, which has been in use for two centuries, and that it is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transportation.World Bicycle Day is now being associated with promoting a healthy lifestyle for those with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
As part of the World Environment Awareness Week, triGOA in association with Cafe Sussegado Souza & Probyk celebrates World Bicycle Day on 3rd June 2019. Join us for a 25 KM bicycle ride (inclusive of breakfast) starting from Ferry Point, Panjim at 06:15 am details of which are given below:
